Just a guy who runs a saloon.

I will not be commanded
And I will not be controlled
And I will not let my future go on
Without the help of my soul.

Howdy. Name's Jo Harvelle, owner of Harvelle's Roadhouse here in Nebraska. Come on in, have a drink, and tell me your woes.

The Harvelle Son

The Ramblers

Jo’s mother is something fierce; ready to pull her gun out for anyone that tries to mess with her boy, she keeps a tight ship and won’t take any guff. The woman, who’d been out of his life for four years, has somehow sprung out from the afterlife and has come back to Jo in his time of need. There’s nothing he wouldn’t do for his Ma, and if anyone tries to challenge that, he’s happy to accept.

Sam Winchester has been Jo’s best friend ever since he can remember. The guy’s the best hunter out there in his book, and he’d fight along side him any day. They might go their separate ways every now and then, but they always manage to run into each other when they get the chance.

After who knows how long of a sabbatical, Jo’s old pal Charlie has come outta the woodwork to help him out at the Roadhouse and assist on his hunts. He respects her like he would any good hunter, and he sometimes treats her like a sister, but he truly values her friendship and advice and sees her as an equal.

Bianca is a woman that Jo can never seem to get enough of. She may be new blood in his life, but he’s quickly developing an itch for the sultry blonde. Call them friends with benefits, the pair enjoy living it up without having to make it complicated.

Jo has a thing for getting under Lilith’s skin. The only demon he knows he can’t gank, he figures why not have some fun with her? While he doesn’t trust her as far as he can throw her, she can be pretty useful at times. He’s enjoying the forbidden friendship they’re starting to build.

Gen , or Sweet Tea as he likes to call her, is one of the few girls Jo really considers part of the group. Working as his cook at the Roadhouse, the sweet Southern girl can make a mean chick-fried steak and melt your heart with that accent all at the same time. The two have flirted, gone out on little dates, and had a few late-night rendezvous after closing time. Knowing Jo’s affinity for hunting, Gen has asked he take her on one, and maybe soon, he’ll take her under his wing and show her the ropes.

Gabe is the newest girl in Jo’s life. He doesn’t know why, but he instantly clicked with the young angel, something he even knows is a bit unorthodox for him.  She’s just a kid, in his eyes, and he wants to protect her from the shit she’s had to sort through on her own all these years. With her working alongside the rest of his crew at the Roadhouse, he knows that he can keep a watchful eye on her and that his friends will do the same.

Sam has recently come back into Jo’s life after a while of little contact. He’s always treated the girl as his equal, as his friend. But, after a night of tequila and bad music, the two of them were in for the shock of their lives when they woke up in bed together. Who knows what this will do to their otherwise healthy friendship?
